Bike Ride

I (Mark) went for a bike ride today. Here is a quick look at the ride from our house to Grafham Water. A large reservoir with a lot of recreation.

After a short trip through town I jumped onto Three Shires Way. It's a public byway used mostly by farmers, motorcycles and cyclists. Its very scenic.

The trail passes through the town of Easton.

There were some rough areas.

But most were wide open.

Potato Chip Flavors

The Brits prefer a wider variety of potato chip flavors. Need we say more?...

Artist

Isabella is an artist! Just the other day, she was drawing scribbles, then dad drew a stick figure and what do you know!--she draws them now too. Yes, she even draws the hair! She just started doing it yesterday and she has drawn at least 50 of them on her doodle board.

Here's our first picture of the new baby! It's a little blurry, but you get the idea. We had the ultrasound last night and everything looked fine. Isabella is very excited about being a big sister. We took her with us to see the ultrasound and she said that the baby was "swimming in the water."

Show and Tell

This past Friday Isabella took her "Wellies" to school for show-and-tell. Thanks Landon, Cristine, and Maddy for the wonderful Christmas gift! She has another pair also from Mike, Hope, Lauren and Veronika that are cute little butterflies. Will post a picture of those as soon as she grows into them.

Tonight Mark put together her new tricycle.

And here it is...

To Peterborough

This one makes me laugh because Isabella wasn't ready for me to take the picture. She's sitting next to the fresh milk and eggs that get delivered to our door.

Off to Peterborough for sightseeing...

Below is the Peterborough Cathedral, built in 1180. Buried inside is King Henry VIII's first wife, Katharine of Aragon. Buried here also was Mary Queen of Scots--but was later moved to Westminster Abbey.

Ahhh! The HISTORY here. That's a Starbuck's Coffee in the building below. Mark and I thought that was really funny.

Below is the center of the market square. Had there been a tour guide, my question would have been, "Did they hang people there?"

Isabella taking notes on the sightseeing.
